We are just moments away from our 1st and sure to be repeated elementary career day! Our Beta Club students have prepared career presentations and activities for our elementary students. Using a treasure map theme we are exploring careers but most importantly learning about sharing our greatest treasure, Jesus Christ. Be sure to check out the MCA social media sites for pictures of this wonderful event. Huge thank you to Miss Mitchell and Mrs. Schleisser for all your work in planning this event with the Beta Club members.  Beta Club, you have done a spectacular job!

This week the course selection process for the next school year was started. Re-enrolled parents and students were sent a link to an online form for each grade level to select classes for next school year. Families will start individual meetings with me starting in May. It's all apart of the spring season!

What juniors should be doing!

Picking a college might feel like a long and overwhelming process. There’s so much to consider and narrowing your options to just one can be hard.
That’s why I suggest you create a list of colleges that you like and could possibly see yourself attending. To help you begin, read the information and download the tools found on this page. They will help you consider your goals and expectations and how they may match or differ with different institutions.
Doing your research now and creating a college list saves a lot of time when you have to apply. You’ll know enough about the colleges to only apply to the institutions that are the best-fit for you.

What seniors should be doing!

As you prepare to go to college, it’s very important to complete the “Free Application for Federal Student Aid” or FAFSA. Even if you don’t think you qualify for need-based aid, make sure you still fill it out. Doing so will open the door for federal loans, which are the best loans to have if you’re planning to borrow money for college. Why? Because federal loans have fixed interest rates and income-driven repayment plans, unlike private student loans.
If you need help completing the FAFSA or have more questions, stop by my office.
